"I started my professional life as general counsel to Oceanic Exploration Company here in Denver. While with Oceanic I negotiated oil and gas and mineral licenses in 27 countries around the world and visited many more. In 1979 I was recruited to start and lead a new oil/gas exploration/production company in Houston, Texas. A year later I also organized a second company in Tulsa, OK. While in Houston, we pursued both oil/gas and uranium opportunities. I led and grew these companies to 1986 when we merged with a larger pipeline and gas marketing company also in Oklahoma. From 1986 to 1995 I was Chairman of the Pexco Group, a diversified mergers and acquisitions group. We invested in basic core businesses and also had an energy division. From the mid 90s to the present I represented the Group in all of its North American investments and also led the legal activities of its energy division. I am currently an independent investor with interests in the Rockies and West Africa..."
