DENVER MINING CLUB LTD. Local Chapter of the INTERNATIONAL ORDER OF RAGGED ASS MINERS Establ. 1891. The Denver Mining Club is the oldest active organization of its type in Colorado.
Since January of 2,003, the DMC has been meeting at the Country Buffet Restaurant (in a private room), 8100 West Crestline Avenue, #A3, Littleton, CO, 8012312.. (about onehalf mile north of the intersection of Wadsworth Boulevard & Bowles ...), Tel: 3039339923. DMC attendees must purchase a meal: that is how we get to use the facility for our meetings! Lindsey V. Maness, Jr., has resigned as a DMC Board Member and as DMC WebMaster: anyone interested in the jobs, please contact Dick Beach.
The Denver Mining Club is a nonprofit (501C6) public forum for the many facets of the mineral industry: engineering, metallurgy, mineralogy, geology, geophysics, exploration, mine planning and production, legal, financial, environmental, political, historical, and mineralrelated travelogues. Those interested in speaking call Dave Jonson, 3037515577. Speakers get a free lunch! The DMC financially supports selected mining museums and education.

As with other scientists and engineers, computers have become an indispensable tool for modernday miners and geologists. Computerrelated information of special value to minerals professionals is presented. Since many of us have been victims of computer crimes perpetrated by selflabelled EcoTerrorists (aka Hacktivists), the first information presented will be some hints about tracking down those who criminally vandalize our computers over the internet.
